Est by John V. Gray and featuring Calgary's premier musicians and vocalists, The Motown Tribute Orchestra, pays homage to some of the greatest musical artists of all time the Motown Tribute Orchestra is an eleven-piece ensemble that perform the hits made by Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, and many more.
The compliment of Musicians has grown over the years and now features Award Winning Vocalist Thomas "the voice" Alexander.
Musical Director and former Ray Charles Bassist John Gray, played with The Marvelettes (Motown Artists) and some of the Original Motown Funk Brothers, the group features guitar, bass, drums a horn section and soulful backup singers Jo Marillier and Dallas Hayes-Sparkes and others.
