I just wanted to tell you how excited I am to be doing this Christmas Magic Concert at the Foothills United Church on December 19th. We are almost sold out and that is such a wonderful feeling.

Santa will visit us at the concert and I know you will all see what an awesome man he is. He has been doing this volunteer work for 20 years plus. The Charity is The Magic of Christmas and if you feel like bringing a toy for a needy child (please know this is just an information email, nothing more, no pressure) Santa will be there during the intermission to collect anything anyone brings.

Here is a little information on what they do for our City.

The Magic of Christmas

Each Christmas Eve, Santa and his helpers load Calgary Transit buses—transformed into “reindeer buses”—with gifts and deliver Christmas joy to families in need.

The Magic of Christmas is a 100% volunteer, non-denominational charity bringing hope and comfort to those facing hardship. Last year, we visited 880 families and 28 healthcare facilities.
